I don't usually write reviews but I have been so pleased with the service and kindness of the staff here that I wanted to share my experience. I moved to Lafayette to attend ULL, so I was not familiar with any places that rented tuxedos in town. I was recommended Mary Ellen's by a friend of mine who is from the area, so I decided to go off of his recommendation, and now I have been going there for the past three years. The staff there is among the nicest I have ever experienced at any business. They have always been beyond helpful, personable, and an all-around pleasure to deal with. The prices are extremely reasonable as well, especially for a student. I cannot recommend Mary Ellen's enough.

From the time you step in the door, get fitted, call because you have 20 questions, pick up garment, the quality of service never changes. Absolutely, by far, the best service we have ever had!!! Whether there is 1 person being attended to or 10, the service is outstanding!!! Thank y'all for making this years prom that much better!!!

Very personable, have you in and out in no time. If something doesn't fix right they have it fixed fast. My pants weren't the right size, they had them shipped the next day, they even offered to drop it off to me. Great service! Highly recommend!

This place is a gem! I needed a suit for a funeral which there is never a heads up for. They took me in and got me hooked up in no time. The service they provided was exceptional and the prices were super reasonable. I will be back for all of my suit needs. They made the funeral process that much easier for me.

The gentlemen here are great. They went out of their way to order a tie for us that they didnt have in stock. We really appreciated it!

We only rent from Mary Ellen's. They have a great staff, fantastic suits and everything is very clean and like new. We've had to rent quite often because of school events and even at the last minute they have always been able to help us out.
